It’s common to feel weighed down by the stories we carry—stories shaped by personal experiences, challenges, and expectations. These narratives influence how we see ourselves and the world, shaping our responses to stress and change. In our work together, we will examine your unique story, identifying patterns, strengths, and areas that may no longer serve you. From there, we will create pathways for meaningful growth and positive change.

I am a relationally oriented therapist that uses humor and warmth to create a genuine connection with my clients. While I tailor my approach to best support each individual client’s needs, I primary utilize a blend of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Meaning-Centered Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).My approach is compassionate and collaborative, offering a safe and nurturing space to process emotions and uncover inner clarity. I believe therapy is a shared journey—an opportunity to discover empowerment, resilience, and a deeper connection to oneself.

Back to Therapists

I hold a social work degree from Columbia University and worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for over a decade prior to starting my private practice. I hold a post-master's certificate in advanced cognitive behavioral therapy and palliative and end-of life care from, both of which were obtained through NYU. In addition to my private practice work, I am also an advisor for first year graduate students at Columbia University School of Social Work and provide supervision to early-career therapists who are obtaining their hours for clinical licensure. I am based in Brooklyn and offer services both remotely and in person.

  • Nothing makes me happier than reading a good book while sitting in a patch of sunshine
  • I think a personalized playlist is the best gift you can give/get (RIP mix tapes)
  • On the weekends you can usually find me chasing my 3 year old around playgrounds in Brooklyn
